FROM THE DILMAH FAMILY
We are a family business, founded on family values. That means we do not compromise on the promise that our Founder Merrill J. Fernando made in 1950 when he started on a mission for quality, goodness and kindness to which he devoted a lifetime.
Our uncompromising commitment is to offering our customers only the world's finest Ceylon Cinnamon; grown, harvested, and perfected by artisans, with kindness to people & nature.
We fulfill our desire to be kind in all that we do through the Merrill J. Fernando Foundation (MJF Foundation) and Dilmah Conservation. We offer kindness to Nature in our efforts at restoring degraded ecosystems, conserving the biodiversity that makes Sri Lanka one of 36 biodiversity hotspots in the world.

Endane Biodiversity Corridor
The biodiversity corridor enables the migration of threatened endemic species, enhancing ecological restoration and biodiversity within the Sinharaja Forest buffer zone. A parallel livelihood upliftment program promotes sustainable resource use, while communities are rewarded for impactful participation in forest restoration and ecosystem stewardship.
Initiated by Dilmah Conservation to share and inspire conservation initiatives that ensure coexistence in order to safeguard human well- being and protect the environment
